Upon Arriving In Paraguay...

Hermana Knapp arrived in Paraguay on February 8, and she loved it from the very beginning. She wrote: "On occasion, I've found myself thinking that Paraguay was made with me in mind for a few reasons: 1) The trees here are beautiful. Some of them have huge leaves with brightly colored flowers. They look like they're made out of plastic or something at first glance--the leaves are just so shiny and green, and the flowers are so beautiful--but nope! They're real, and I love it. 2) The sky is fantastic here. The clouds are beautiful, the sunsets are beautiful. Bah. I'm in heaven. Plus, 3) It's humid. 4) There is always music playing in the streets--sweet, Latino folky music, and I just love it. So yes, Paraguay is like my own personal paradise."
